School of Dance students of all levels showcase the skills they have learned over the course of the academic year. Open to families and parents of students, the recital is $5 per ticket. The Spring Recital will have two days to showcase their skills; Friday, May 19th 7:30PM & Saturday, May 20th 2PM. We are excited to see you at the Recital!

72 Hour KICKASS Film Fest

3rd annual screening and award ceremony for the 2023, 72 Hour Kick Ass Film Festival!

We will be screening all qualifying short films submitted by independent filmmakers for our 72-hour film fest! These films were written, filmed, and edited in only 72 hours! These films of all genres will be selected as contenders for 14 amazing awards such as Best Director, Audience Choice, and Best Short film!

We will have movie snacks and refreshments with guest musical performances!

Tickets to The Complete History of Comedy (abridged) are far more affordable than tickets to an amusement park, but you’ll come away with the same feeling of nausea and motion sickness. From cavemen telling “Rock Rock” jokes to Will Smith upset at Chris Rock’s jokes and everything in-between, the bad boys of abridgement leave no joke untold as they deconstruct the entire history of comedy in 90 rollic

One Act Play Competition

 

The first annual One Act Play Competition will involve 8 southern Colorado high schools competing against each other for five awards. The high school students will be judged my professionals in the performing arts including directors from UCCS, Adams State University, and CSUP. 

$5 for non-students to enter the theater.

Four performances will take place from 8am-12pm. After a lunch break, they will resume from 1pm-5pm. (Food trucks will be parked on campus for this event.)

Brandon Leake, season 15 winner of America's Got Talent, will be performing his one man poetry show "Insomnia". This spoken word play walks through a college senior's late night woes: a battle with his inner demons. 

Featuring former local Pueblo Has Talent contestants:

Pueblo Municipal Band

Get your Christmas spirit up to holiday season with the Christmas Concert from the Pueblo Municipal Band playing all your classic tunes! Enjoy it as they are free to the community. Due to high demand, we recommend arriving early. We are expecting a full show, and this will be a general admission seating.
