Pete the Cat Comes to Pueblo
Lights! Camera! Action! Pete the Cat is heading to the Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center for the theatrical performance of “Pete’s Big Hollywood Adventure”. When Pete and his buddy Callie decide to sneak into Hollywood studios, they suddenly become lost in the world of movie-making magic. Join us as we watch Pete and his friends in this rockin’ new musical adventure. This performance also features several fun-filled Pete the Cat books like Cavecat Pete, Pete the Cat and the Treasure Map, and The Cool Cat Boogie. This show is a perfect opportunity for District 60 families to attend at a discounted price, as a perk for the D60 Family Membership Program. The Buell Children’s Museum Director, Jerica Khosla, is excited to start seeing more families in our community attend live performances and events at the Arts Center. “We’re so excited to bring Pete the Cat to Pueblo. This performance is the perfect opportunity to introduce the magic of live theater to young children in our community,” says Khosla. Audience members will get the chance to interact with Pete the Cat elements currently on display in the Buell Children’s Museum. Come take your picture with our life-size Pete sculpture and write a special message to him on his giant dry-erase white shoe in the lobby of the theater. “See you ‘cool cats’ at the show!” This show is geared toward families and children from grades Pre-K through 3rd grade.
