As the sun sets on a fantastic summer at the Buell Children’s Museum, we are celebrating the end of our hit exhibit, “Let’s Dance!” with a series of world dance performances and demonstrations.
Join us on August 19th at 1PM to learn about indigenous dance from Samuel Gallegos of SOAR. This special interactive demonstration will take place in the Buell’s El Pomar Magic Carpet Theater and is free with museum admission.
SOAR (Storytellers of the Ancestral Red Road) is a Southern Colorado collective of traditional Indigenous teachers and allies, sharing cultural wisdom in multi-generational educational settings, and practicing well-being and community-focused healing through creative expression.
