Gateway to the Southwest

The Sangre de Cristo Arts Center presents an exhibition celebrating the long history of Ken and Judith Williams’ art connection to the Pueblo community, culminating in their newest project, GATEWAY TO THE SOUTHWEST.

Pueblo officials chose the design for a pair of 45-foot public art sculptures from a call for entries of designs from around the four corner states. The monumental "Gateway to the Southwest" structures flank the Dillon Drive bridge going over the interstate north of the city, installed in the center of the east and west roundabouts.
