Free Days at the Arts Center

Second Sundays at the Arts Center

The Sangre de Cristo Arts Center and Buell Children’s Museum offer an unforgettable experience for those who visit, and the second Sunday of every other month during 2017 offers free basic admission.

Community access and inclusivity is very important to us.  Together, with the generous supporters of these access days, we are strengthening and elevating our community. The Arts Center is grateful for all the donors, members, and supporters who make the sharing of our permanent collections, exhibitions, and programs available to visitors from around the world.

I have 3 kids. 7 years old to 3 years old and they all had a blast when we visited yesterday. 2 hours later they still didn't want to leave.  The Family Free Day was a great opportunity for us to see what the Arts Center has to offer too. There were tons of volunteers on-hand and I loved that they were very aware of what the kids were doing. They also have a nice little Mother's Room on the second floor for breastfeeding moms!  - Erin F.
