Center Stage Series - Les Ballets Trockadero

Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo was founded in 1974 by a group of ballet enthusiasts for the purpose of presenting a playful, entertaining view of traditional, classical ballet in parody form and en travesti. Les Ballets Trockadero first performed in the late-late shows in Off-Off Broadway lofts. The Trocks, as they are affectionately known, quickly garnered a major critical essay by Arlene Croce in The New Yorker, and combined with reviews in The New York Times and The Village Voice, established the Company as an artistic and popular success. Center Stage Series - Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus

This live comedy show is more than just the book. The performer in the show relates to the audience as someone who resisted the Mars/Venus work for years, but then he meets John Gray. Now his experience leads him to share with others how he sees the relationships of men and women from a very humorous perspective. First Friday Art Walk

Pueblo has a booming Creative Corridor which participates in First Friday Art Walks on the first Friday of the month.  The Sangre de Cristo Arts Center offers free access to the seven fine art galleries inside the Helen T. White Building from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.  During these nights, visitors are invited on a self-guided tour of the art galleries, restaurants, and businesses located within the Creative Corridor in Downtown Pueblo. Events on these nights celebrate the culture that makes Pueblo so special - and one of only 12 certified creative districts in Colorado.

Free days during First Friday Art Walks in 2018 are February 2, March 2, April 6, May 4, September 7, October 5, November 2, and December 7.

Free admission from 5 - 7 pm on Friday, October 5, is made possible by Mona Askwig in memory of Bill Askwig.
