This holiday treat is a stunning drama in which we see Clara and the Nutcracker dance their way through a fantastic dream of magic and celebration.

Sangre de Cristo Arts Center Ballet is a community-based pre-professional youth company. The company consists of students, community members, and guests. The company offers original performances in classical, contemporary, and modern dance. The student criteria for becoming a Sangre de Cristo Ballet member is to achieve ballet level four or higher, to be enrolled in and actively attend all classes offered at that particular level, to be willing to attend all scheduled rehearsals, and to prioritize Sangre de Cristo Ballet’s activities over other extracurricular engagements. Once a student has agreed to and fulfilled all of the above criteria, they are given the opportunity to join the ranks of Sangre de Cristo Ballet based on their commitment and work ethic. The Sangre de Cristo Ballet guest and community member criteria are based on production needs. A public audition will be announced and held to cast productions. Sangre de Cristo Ballet productions often include artists from other performing arts and art genres, as well as other dance genres and movement disciplines.
