2018-19 Regional Series

The Regional Series brings renowned performances from throughout our area to Pueblo, serving live performance lovers of all ages.  The Sangre de Cristo Regional Series aims to bring live performance to the younger crowd, those twenty and thirty-somethings who see these types of events as social gatherings and a way to "discover" the next big thing.  The talent showcased during the series hails from the Front Range with varied types like comedy, music, theatre, film, etc.  But the atmosphere will always remain the same... fun, niche-based, and comfortable - never stuffy.

American Music Icons by Sonny G. resurrects the legendary showmanship and dynamic stage presence of beloved music superstars of days gone by. The Hannah Kahn Dance Company, one of Denver’s finest professional modern dance troupes, has been sharing its passion for dance since 1988. “Hannah Kahn is a choreographer with a special sensitivity toward music. Her recent work is the exhilarating product of that sensitivity,” says Jennifer Dunning of The New York Times. This performance features an opening act by the Sangre de Cristo School of Dance.

Bettman and Halpin: Joyful Acoustic Americana | Friday, September 14, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.
Bettman & Halpin play original Folk/Americana music. Their concerts combine high-energy upbeat bluegrass, inspired compositions, beautiful ballads with soaring vocals and heartfelt lyrics, and groovy feel-good songs that audiences will be singing in their heads for weeks thereafter.

Holiday Concert with the Pueblo Municipal Band | Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 2 p.m. 
Pueblo’s Municipal Band has been playing since 1913 and contains sixty-five members. All of these musicians are performing because they have a passion to produce captivating sounds. This performance features the entire concert ensemble and the Pueblo Municipal Jazz Band as they play holiday favorites.
