New Acquisitions: Contemporary Western Art from the Collection

2nd Floor Foyer Gallery | September 23 - January 20, 2018

About the exhibition:

This selection of new works of Southwestern art is now part of the Arts Center's Regional and Contemporary Collection and includes such well-known artists as John Farnsworth, John Nieto, Malcolm Furlow, and Phyllis Kapp.

Among others, these acquisitions are possible through the generousity of Charles A. and Jeannette Gilchrist-White. The Gilchrist-Whites developed a passion for the Southwest's unique culture almost immediately upon their first visit. Their collection spans over 35 artists and almost 100 individual artworks.
