Marvelous Mud: Box

Only $16.67 per lesson! Starting on February 21st through March 21st. Materials included in class cost. This class is for all levels, no clay experience necessary. Students who are experienced in clay will be able to work on the same box on a more advanced level.

In this 6-day class, students will learn the feel and possibilities of clay by building a ceramic box and decorating the surface with slip. The instructor will go over three stages of clay: plastic, leather hard, and bone dry. This class will cover the basics of joining two or more pieces of clay together and the importance of working in stages. Students will sculpt, carve, and learn about decorating with slip.
