In their newest musical, Judy Moody and Stink, this dynamic sister and brother duo take audiences on a hilarious adventure. As usual, Judy is in a mood. After seeing her classmate’s picture on the front page of the newspaper, Judy wants to be famous and sets off to find fame and happiness. All the while, Stink and his foul-smelling sneakers become a real distraction as he vies for the coveted Golden Clothespin Award. Judy Moody and Stink are the perfect pair for their imperfect capers that lead to fun, mystery, sibling rivalry, and, in the end, true friendship.

The Greatest Pirate Story Never Told is Off Broadway’s improvised, interactive, musical pirate adventure filled with boatloads of laugh-out-loud moments for both kids and grown-ups!

The Plot: Flung into the future by a musical-loving Sea Witch, a crew of misfit pirates-turned-actors must now perform the greatest pirate epic ever seen on stage! But when their script is partially obscured by a tragic squid ink accident, the crew must turn to the audience to fill in the missing bits of the plot. Cast members improvise their musical adventure, seamlessly weaving the audience suggestions into scenes, songs and more!

Full of swordplay and wordplay with a boatload of laughs for pirates age 4 to 104, this swashbuckling musical is never the same show twice!! Says The New York Times: “More laughs than there are bones in Davy Jones’s locker!” The show was nominated as “Best Family Show 2014” by the Off-Broadway Alliance Awards.

SHOW: Nutcracker in a Nutshell          

WHEN: Saturday, November 23, 2019 @ 1pm

INFO: This beloved holiday tale follows Clara on her magical journey to the Kingdom of Sweets as she meets fanciful characters like the Rat King, Snow Queen, and Sugar Plum Fairy.  Audience members can easily follow Clara’s dreamy adventure in this condensed and narrated version of the Nutcracker Ballet - perfect for children of all ages.   Watch as the tale comes to life with dance, costumes, and sets that will fuel the imagination!

SHOW: Space-A-Cade 

WHEN: Saturday, April 18, 2020 @ 1pm                                    

INFO: Houston, we have a problem…. Lenny’s spaceship has crashed here on Earth and he needs our help to get home!  This ship is extremely advanced since it runs off of a crystal powered by knowledge, which, luckily, our audience has in droves.  Your mission is to help reboot the power crystal to get Lenny back home.  And we are going to need all the brain power we can get to power Lenny’s ship.  You won’t want to miss this out-of-this-world adventure!


What is "Pay As You Can"?

In order to ensure that every child and family can attend a theatre performance, we offer a "Pay As You Can" performance.  Visitors on this day are asked to name their price - from $1 to $8 - when purchasing tickets. 

How does it work?

Tickets MUST be purchased at the Arts Center on the day of the performance from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Welcome Center or when the Box Office opens at 12 p.m. If you wish to purchase tickets by phone or prior to the performance date, the tickets will be processed at regular price. The minimum price is $1.00 per ticket. The maximum ticket purchase for each person is 6 tickets.  Any additional tickets will be sold at regular price.
