Registration for our Spring 2019 semester is now open. Spring classes begin Monday, January 7th and run through Saturday, June 1st. Registration is open all semester, but register as soon as possible to maximize your student's dance education benefits!

We offer scholarships to families in need with a passion for dance! Click here to view the scholarship application. Please note that families must be registered with the School of Dance and must make the first full monthly payment in order to be considered for scholarship.

At the Sangre de Cristo School of Dance, we maintain a commitment to students and their families to provide: 

  • Professional instruction at affordable rates

  • Class curriculum that is developmentally appropriate, progressive, and sequential in each genre taught

  • Attention to the total development of each student regardless of their future aspirations as a dancer or latent abilities

The School of Dance offers a variety of classes, including and in addition to: 

  • Classes offered during spring, summer, and fall semesters

  • Camps offered in the summer (as of 2018)

  • Open Division classes designed for students who are new to dance and/or prefer something more recreational than the discipline of the School Division (see our schedule for a current list of our Open Division classes)

  • Artistic Division classes for upper level students that are sometimes not offered at any other dance school in Southern Colorado

  • Master Classes taught from professional dance companies and guest artists.

The Sangre de Cristo Dancerz is a resident company of the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center that is composed of differently-abled individuals. The Dancerz perform and rehearse as part of the Arts Center's School of Dance and are under the artistic direction of Robert J. Doyle.
