School of Arts: Propose a Class
Interested in teaching a workshop or class over the summer?
We are interested in each of the following three items for Summer 2009:
SUMMER ARTS CLASSES. We are interested in classes held between June 15 and August 7, 2009 that span 4 or 8 weeks. (Or, two 4-week sessions!) We are especially interested in children’s classes held after 2 pm on a weekday – to accommodate art camp kids who would love to stay longer.
SUMMER ARTS CAMPS. Our wildly popular summer art camps return this summer from June 8 through July 31, 2009. Our art camps are for children, grade 1 through 6. Art workshops are held in two sessions, Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, kids enjoy a movie. All workshops fit a specific weekly theme. Morning sessions are 9 to 11 a.m. Afternoon sessions are noon to 2 p.m. Kids enjoy a one-hour supervised lunch in between. If you are interested, simply tell Gary what dates you are available and if you prefer morning or afternoon.
ONE-DAY WORKSHOPS. We are interested in hosting one to two-day workshops during May. Since May is filled with graduations and other activities, we think these shorter offerings will better fit peoples’ busy lives.
