Glitz& Glamour Hollywood Portraiture: Black & White Digital

Tuesdays, June 10-24; July 15 & 22, 5:30 to 9:30 pm
Learn the history and development of black and white Hollywood Glamour photography and how you can create, pose and light for similar glamour portraits using a digital camera. Photo shoots will include live models with on-site hair stylist and make up artist. All lighting equipment will be furnished. Finishing touches using Adobe Photoshop will be demonstrated. (Having a lap top will be a plus, but not necessary.) Lab fee pays for the models, hair stylist and makeup artist. You must know the basics (see intro class below) of your digital camera to take this class.

Introduction to Digital Photography

Black & White Digital Fine Art

Learn to create black & white fine art photography using a digital camera. Class includes several local field trips to develop techniques. Finishing touches using Adobe Photoshop will be demonstrated. Having a lap top will be a plus, but not necessary. Basic knowledge of your digital camera is a must.

Nature, Landscape & Flowers: Southwest

Travel on June 21-23 with June 12 orientation and June 14 learning field trip to San Isabel
In this 3-day class, participants will travel to San Luis, Taos, the High Road, the Vietnam memorial, Santa Fe and Bandelier. You will photograph and visit galleries that feature fine art photography. Learn techniques of using existing light and creating fine art nature, landscape, or flower photography. Class designed for digital, but those using film will still benefit from class. Transportation, room & board, and food costs will be covered at orientation. Nature, Landscape & Flowers: Crested Butte

This 3- day class will focus on the Colorado mountains and wildflowers. Travel to the Crested Butte area and photograph landscapes, flowers and the town of Crested Butte. Learn techniques of using existing light and creating fine art nature, landscape, or flower photography. Class designed for digital, but those using film will still benefit from class. Transportation, room & board, and food costs will be covered at orientation. Basic knowledge of your digital camera is a must.
