FILM AND THEATRE

Theatre Works presents:
Shakespeare’s As You Like It
Wednesday, July 30 & Thursday, July 31, 7:30 pm
Main Stage Theater | Tickets: $2 per seat
The play begins in an oppressive and constricted court, but soon moves into the Forest of Arden where lovers find liberty and love in the great outdoors. There’s a poem on every tree, a sermon in every stone and a song in every running brook. The play is a feast of love, music and magical foolishness, and features one of Shakespeare’s greatest heroines — Rosalind, the girl who disguises herself as a boy to teach her lover how to woo his girl.
