Call for Entries
You are invited to participate in the
12th annual Art & Soul of Pueblo Street Gallery Exhibit.
The Street Gallery, a public sculpture exhibit located in Downtown
Pueblo, encompasses much of the central Downtown area, beginning just
one block from I-25. The exhibit area contains many of Pueblo’s
amenities, including the Convention Center, Arts Center,Buell Children’s
Museum, El Pueblo History Museum and the Riverwalk. Art and Soul
Street Gallery is a cooperative effort of several organizations including
the Downtown Association, Alpha Mu Delta, Sangre DeCristo Arts and
Conference Center, and local artists.
Awards include a $1000 Alpha Mu Delta Award of Excellence, and a $500 People’s Choice Award.
Entry Guidelines
• Art and Soul Street Gallery is an outdoor public project; all proposed works will be screened to insure
durability, safety, and artistic merit prior to acceptance.
• Exhibited works will be displayed for one year from September 23, 2011 to September 21,2012. The
artist certifies that the sculpture is suitable for outdoor exhibit, that materials are durable and will
withstand the weather, and attentions of the public. The artist understands that insurance coverage may
be subject to limitations and agrees to accept valuation as determined by the insurance carrier.
• Participating artists will be asked to deliver their sculpture to Downtown Pueblo for installation on Friday,
September 23, 2011.
• All selected works are exhibited for sale and subject to a 25% commission to Art and Soul Street Gallery.
Any insurance full loss claims will be treated as a purchase and subject to the commission reduction.
• The Art & Soul Street Gallery will feature participating artists in promotional materials and our web-site.
• Artists will be contacted to confirm their entry selection. Detailed installation information will be provided.
